Michelle Khury

Michelle Khury Manzano is a 25 year old female, with a Bachelors degree in Social Science and Communications.  Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and raised in the Dominican Republic, is considered to be a miracle of God.  Before her birth her mother, Luz Delia Manzano Khury, having already two children, suffered difficulties of conceiving yet another child, having seven miscarriages, turned over to the Lord knowing that He granted miracles, begged the Lord for a baby girl, and if He granted her this wish, this little girl would serve the Lord throughout the song.

After this petition she found herself pregnant with this desired baby girl, but as the saying goes; the more difficult things become, the more are the blessings, although nothing was that simple, she was born premature, only weighing 3 pounds, doctors could not assure she would survive.  That mother believed, knowing that this creature was formed miracoulasly in her, she would surpass that condition, soon after she found herself with a bacteria by the name of Echerychacole, spots were seen in her eyes that could not be detected as to what could have caused this, and to say the least when it was time for her hair and teeth to grow, she was still bald and teethless, her little legs deformed having to walk with some cables to stabalize her balance, and a hernia in her belly button, but the most fascinating thing out of all these complications was having the Lord’s hands eradicating throughout the prayer.

As an answer to that petition at the age of 4 years old she started singing in the church’s choir, and without being imposed to this, Michelle came out with a natural gift in her voice as an infant and started her life as a Christian worshiper. The attacks continued coming along wanting to destroy her purpose in life (in various cases when success and victories are so far from being reached, that is when it will be closer to your own life).

By the time her academical stage come across to retain certain aspects, the frontal lobe in her cranium was still inmature and could not retain things mentally, she could not explain to her teahcer what she had understood, but later in the afternoon she was able to direct television and radio programs miracoulasly with a guideline of a person who did not have any abnormality and worshiping the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Michelle continues strongly with God’s will and the help of her family because that God who performed miracles in the past, was the one who would perform the divine healing based on her slow development.  And by the time her schooling would come to an end, having everything agaist her, she finished graduating with four honors from school and honors from the university.

At the age of 7 years old she recorded her first child production and throughout her childhood years while becoming an adolescent.  Michelle has recorded 5 productions throughout the artistic media, bringing with her a message of hope and faith, participating in numerous concerts and activities within and away from the country, also forming parts of different television programs, having played an artistical role in the cast, such as: Los Niños Pueden (Children Can), Chiquitips (Tiny Tips), En mi mundo de amor, (In my own lovely world), Sábado Chiquito (Little Saturday), Topi Topi (Tiny Touch Tiny Touch), María Moñitos (María Pigtails) and others.  Michelle also served as a broadcast announcer for several years in the childhood radio station Don Papiro y sus amiguitos (Mr. Papiro and his little friends).

With her latest recording production “Te Daría”, Michelle was recognized as a Christian music singer in the Casandra Awards from the Dominican Republic, in the category of Christian/Religion genre.   Nominated in two categories and winner of the Paoli Puerto Rico as sacrum music production of the year.
